Kimley-Horn and Associates, the consultant that is providing planning and engineering services relating to the US 1 – FEC Bridge Implementation Plan has submitted a proposal for a fifth amendment to its contract with the City.  The consultant contract has been amended four times.

Description of Action

Expenditures on amendments 3 and 4 totaled $25,067.41, leaving an unspent balance of $34,132.59.  In November, 2011 the EDA notified the City that its grant application was not approved.   Additional funding will now be necessary to complete the tasks outlined in Amendment 3, i.e., preparation of the concept study and opinion of cost and coordination with FEC.  The consultant has proposed a fifth amendment to reauthorize those services for a cost of $20,314.00.
